This week, we continued making progress on our barn remodel in Gilbertsville, PA.

With the subfloor now complete, we’ve moved into framing the new interior walls and continuing to straighten and true up the existing structure. As you’d expect with an older barn, not everything is perfectly straight—or in perfect condition. We’ve been working through the existing framing, replacing broken and rotted members where needed and correcting old planes to give us a solid, straight structure to build from.

We also continued our plumbing rough-in work as the new layout starts to take shape.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but each week this old barn is getting a little closer to its next chapter. Follow along as we continue the transformation. This is going to be a fantastic project when it’s finished!
