Down at the log cabin job, we installed a custom-built door made right on site. This wasn’t just any door—it was designed to match the historic aesthetic of the cabin, and we took it a step further by using hand-forged hardware from Connecticut. The strap hinges and traditional latch system were selected to blend seamlessly with the original hardware throughout the house, keeping the rustic charm intact while adding fresh functionality. We also installed a new entry door at the basement cellar way, improving both access and energy performance.
Up in Telford, we’re nearing the finish line on our kitchen and living space remodel. This week we wrapped up all trim details and final paintwork. With the new countertops and backsplash on the way, we’re set to bring the space together with a polished, updated look that complements the rest of the home.
