This week at Marvel Builders, we’ve been balancing rustic charm and modern function across two standout projects—one deep in the woods of Malvern, the other up in the heart of Telford.
At the Malvern Cabin, we’ve been laser-focused on upgrading the bathroom and closing in the open stairwell for added safety and clean visuals. With rough plumbing complete, we pushed ahead with the shower installation, buttoned up the wall cavities with custom trim, and sanded and stained the massive log post before securing it into place. The warmth of the wood, combined with our careful finish work, is already elevating the space. We also kicked off fabrication of the custom entry door, which will soon feature hand-forged hinges and hardware straight from Connecticut—a detail that will really set this cabin apart.
Meanwhile, in Telford, our kitchen and living room refresh is really starting to take shape. The drywall is complete, and we’ve finished demoing the old countertops and backsplash. Paint prep is underway, with final colors ready to hit the walls any day now. Once the new countertops arrive, we’ll be tying the whole space together with fresh finishes and updated fixtures.
