This week at Marvel Builders, Inc., our team stayed busy across several remodeling and renovation projects throughout Berks County and the surrounding area. From finish carpentry and stair upgrades to bathroom remodeling and exterior improvements, we continued pushing multiple projects closer to completion.
Boyertown Stair and Wainscoting Renovation
One of the standout projects this week has been a custom stair and wainscoting renovation in Boyertown. The homeowners wanted to dramatically update the appearance of their staircase and surrounding walls while maintaining a warm, timeless feel throughout the home.
Our team has been focused on installing detailed wainscoting panels and rebuilding sections of the stair rail system using stained red oak selected to meet the customer’s exact specifications. The contrast between the painted millwork and rich stained hardwood is already transforming the space.
New stair treads are scheduled to be installed soon, which will help tie the entire staircase renovation together and complete the updated look.
Barto Bathroom Remodel Progress
Over in Barto, we continued making progress on an ongoing bathroom remodel project. This week, all painting work was completed, giving the room a clean and finished appearance as we move into the final stages.
One of the biggest milestones this week was templating the custom solid surface shower system. The shower walls and base are now officially in production and will soon be ready for installation.
This remodel has been steadily coming together, and we’re excited to see the finished product once the final plumbing fixtures, trim details, and shower components are installed.
Pottstown Porch Repaint and Garage Improvements
In Pottstown, we officially wrapped up a porch repaint project that gave the exterior space a refreshed and updated appearance. Proper prep work and finish coatings help protect exterior surfaces while also improving curb appeal and overall appearance.
While on-site, our team also installed a new pull-down attic stair system in the garage to improve access to overhead storage space. Small upgrades like these can make a major difference in day-to-day convenience and functionality for homeowners.
