But no matter what, our progress remains steady.
Steady Progress on the Exterior
This past week, we made significant strides on the exterior siding and trim work. One of the key aspects of any remodel is ensuring that the exterior not only looks great but is built to last. We’re using DiamondKote siding, a high-quality, durable product that stands up to the elements while offering a clean and polished appearance. Paired with precision-cut trims, the barn is taking on a refined, finished look that enhances its character while maintaining a rustic charm.
Lighting and Finishing Touches
With the structure looking sharper by the day, we’ve also started installing exterior light fixtures. Thoughtfully placed lighting adds both function and aesthetic appeal, ensuring that this barn will look just as stunning in the evening as it does during the day. Proper illumination also enhances safety and usability, making the space more inviting at any time of day.
Porch Upgrades with DiamondKote Wraps
One of the standout updates this week was the porch transformation. We installed DiamondKote post wraps and beam wraps, which not only add a beautiful, cohesive look to the porch but also provide superior protection against wear and weathering. These high-performance materials offer long-term durability while maintaining a classic aesthetic that fits perfectly with the barn’s overall design.

With siding, trims, lighting, and porch details coming together, we’re heading into the next phases of the project. We’ll continue refining the exterior details, making sure every piece is installed with precision. Soon, we’ll shift focus to additional interior finishes and structural enhancements, ensuring that this barn isn’t just beautiful on the outside but fully functional and built to last on the inside as well.
