At Marvel Builders, we’ve had one of those weeks that reminds us just how much can happen in a short time when the weather cooperates and the team is firing on all cylinders. With multiple projects moving forward in Pottstown, we’ve been digging, prepping, installing, and even crossing a job off the list entirely.
Patio Prep and a Fresh Start
Early in the week, we focused on tearing out an old, worn concrete patio at one of our ongoing projects in Pottstown. The slab had seen better days and was due for replacement, so we got to work removing the old material and prepping the base for a new pour. The ground is now fully prepped and ready for concrete—this will soon be a clean, solid outdoor space that’s both functional and attractive.
Garage Upgrade in the Works
On the same property, we’re giving the garage exterior a fresh look with new Diamond Kote siding. If you’ve followed us for a while, you know we’re big fans of Diamond Kote for its durability and long-lasting finish. This week, we finished the prep work for that install—removing the old materials and making sure everything is ready to go. Once the siding is on, it’s going to completely transform the look of this structure.
Another Garage, Another Transformation
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, we’ve started a full overhaul on a second garage. This one had an old stone floor that needed to be removed before we could move forward with upgrades. We’ve been digging it out to prepare for a fresh concrete slab, and once that’s in place, we’ll be bringing in new lighting, drywall, and overhead doors to modernize the entire space. It’s shaping up to be a dramatic before-and-after.
Finishing Strong with a Long-Awaited Door
To cap off the week, we wrapped up a project we’ve been chipping away at for a while. We finally received a custom door that had been delayed, and once it was in hand, we wasted no time getting it installed and painted. With that final piece in place, the project is officially complete—and it feels great to cross it off the list.
