At Marvel Builders, Inc., no two weeks ever look the same — and that’s exactly how we like it. From clean, modern office upgrades to full-scale residential remodels, this week was a perfect snapshot of what happens when multiple projects move forward at once.
And yes… we also found a LEGO set hiding inside an office remodel. More on that later.
Frosted Glass, Done Right: Pottstown Office Remodel
We like our conference room glass like we like our cakes — frosted.
This week, progress continued on a commercial office remodel in Pottstown, where we’re installing privacy film on custom glass walls and doors. The goal here is balance:
- Maintain natural light and an open feel
- Add visual privacy for meetings and focused work
- Keep the overall look clean, modern, and professional
Privacy film is a small detail that makes a huge difference in how an office functions day-to-day. It allows the space to stay bright and connected while still giving employees and clients the discretion they need.
We’re about halfway through this phase, and the transformation is already noticeable.
Double the Bathrooms, Double the Progress (Pottstown)
On the other side of Pottstown, work continued on a double-bathroom renovation, and this project moved through several critical stages this week.
Completed or Ongoing This Week:
- Rough plumbing
- Rough electrical
- Insulation
- Drywall installation
- Tile preparation
This is what we call the unpretty phase — the work most people never see but absolutely rely on. Proper rough-ins, insulation, and prep work are what ensure:
- Fixtures land exactly where they should
- Tile layouts are clean and intentional
- Finished spaces last for decades, not years
When the final tile and fixtures go in, they’ll look great — because everything behind the walls was done right.
Limerick Basement Remodel: Finish Work in Motion
Over in Limerick, we continued progress on a basement remodel, focusing this week on spackling and surface prep.
This stage requires patience and precision. Smooth walls don’t come from rushing — they come from:
- Proper joint treatment
- Multiple coats
- Careful sanding and inspection
It’s the difference between “finished” and professionally finished. This phase sets the tone for paint, trim, and the overall feel of the space once the basement comes to life.
The Unexpected Find: Office LEGO Set 🧱
Construction sites always have surprises… but this one made us laugh.
While working through the office remodel, we discovered an Office LEGO set tucked away onsite. An office remodel revealing an office LEGO set felt a little too on-the-nose to ignore.
No, it’s not in the scope of work — but morale definitely increased.
Always Something Going On
This week was a great example of how Marvel Builders operates:
- Multiple active job sites
- Residential and commercial work moving in parallel
- Progress happening at every stage — from rough-in to finish work
Whether it’s a modern office upgrade, a full bathroom remodel, or a basement transformation, the approach stays the same: do it right, every step of the way.
