This week marked a major turning point in our commercial office remodel project — the kind where you finally stop saying “someday” and start saying “almost done.”

After months of demolition, framing, infrastructure work, and detail-driven construction, the space is now visibly transitioning into its final form.

Here’s what we completed this week.

Brickwork Completed and Acid Washed

The exterior masonry work has officially been tied in and acid washed, giving the brick a clean, consistent finish and restoring its natural color.

This step is critical not just aesthetically, but functionally — preparing the opening for the upcoming storefront glass door systems.

Once those doors are installed, the building will immediately take on its finished commercial appearance.

Storefront Glass Door Systems — Up Next

With masonry complete, the project is now staged and ready for the installation of the new storefront glass doors.

These systems will dramatically change the look and functionality of the office by:

  • Increasing natural light
  • Improving visibility and curb appeal
  • Creating a professional commercial entrance
  • Enhancing energy efficiency

This is one of the most exciting milestones suggesting the end is near.

Custom Cabinetry and Storage Solutions Completed

Inside the office, our team completed custom-built cabinets designed specifically to house file storage and administrative needs.

Unlike off-the-shelf solutions, these cabinets were built to:

  • Maximize wall space
  • Maintain clean sight lines
  • Support long-term durability
  • Match the overall layout of the office

In addition, storage units have now been fully installed, allowing the space to function exactly as intended — organized, efficient, and professional.

Floor Patching and Paint Touch-Ups

As with any commercial renovation, the final phase requires careful attention to detail.

This week included:

  • Floor patching to prepare surfaces for final finishes
  • Paint touch-ups throughout the space
  • Blending new construction seamlessly with completed areas

These small details make a massive difference in the final presentation.

Electrical Tie-Ins and Final Adjustments

We also continued with miscellaneous electrical tie-ins, ensuring all systems are properly connected, tested, and positioned for daily business use.

This includes:

  • Final device connections
  • Power verification
  • Layout-specific adjustments

The kind of work nobody sees — but everyone notices when it’s not done right.

What’s Next

With major systems complete and finishes knowing where they belong, the project is officially entering the final stretch.

Coming up:

  • Storefront glass door installation
  • Final inspections
  • Punch-list completion
  • Professional photography

What began as a raw commercial space has transformed into a clean, functional, purpose-built office environment.

Final Thoughts

This commercial office remodel has been a journey — the kind that reminds us why thoughtful planning, craftsmanship, and patience matter.

We can’t wait to share the finished space and the full before-and-after transformation.

Stay tuned. The best photos are still ahead.
