At Marvel Builders, we love projects that are out of the ordinary, and our barn conversion in Gilbertsville is exactly that. What was once a traditional barn is now well on its way to becoming a beautifully finished living space with all the comforts of home—without losing its unique character.
This week marked some big milestones for the project:
- We received and passed our rough-in inspections.
- We completed the insulation work and passed that inspection as well.
- We began hanging drywall, officially transforming the interior from “construction zone” to “a space you can imagine living in.”
It’s always exciting when a project starts to shift from structural and behind-the-scenes work to visible finishes. With drywall going up, you can really begin to see the scale and feel of the rooms. This barn is a one-of-a-kind space, and it’s going to be something special when it’s all complete.
